(3). By substituting (subject to paragraph 2 of

this section) throughout the Code of Civil Procedure

the words "Court of Appeal" for the words "Full

Court".

(4). By repealing sections 294 and 594.

The Supreme Court Ordinance, 1873, is here-

by amended as follows:-

(1). By substituting in the definition of the

Supreme Court [Ordinance] in section 2 the words "as

constituted from time to time" for the words "here-

tofore established by law and reconstituted by this

Ordinance".

(2). By substituting, in the definition of "The

Court" in section 2, the words "some or one of the

Judges" for the words "The Chief Justice and the

Puisne Judge".

(3). By substituting the words "The Divisional

Court" for the words "The Full Court" in the

definition of "The Full Court" in section 2.

(4). By substituting the following for sub-

section (1) of section 9:-

"The Supreme Court shall consist of the

Chief Justice, a Judge of His Britannic

Majesty's Supreme Court of China and Corea

and a Puisne Judge. All actions and other

proceedings whatsoever except appeals

shall in the first instance be heard either

before the Chief Justice or the Puisne

Judge sitting alone.

(5). By amending sub-section (2) of section 9 by

the substitution of the words "Judge of the Supreme

Court" for the words "Chief Justice and every Puisne

Judge".
